PRESS ON

Philippians 3:13-14
“Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”

The indelible mark that great achievers leave is the relentless effort they exert in obtaining the prize of their goals. They knock down every kind of limitation to reach the height of their goals. To achieve your set goals this year takes a real deal of great discipline and self-control in the confidence of God’s promises to get to where you want to reach.

Ignore the past and press on towards the end. Forget the pains of yesterday and steer on to the future. What lies ahead is greater than what you lost the years past. Exercise self-control to do the things you are called to do in life.

Proverbs 25:28
“A man without self-control
is like a city broken into and left without walls.”

Without self-control, you are like a ruined city, left open for raiders. Exercise restrain and rule your own spirit. Rule your spirit and do the things that need to be done this year. Press on towards the mark.

1 Corinthians 9:24
“Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one receives the prize? So run that you may obtain it.”

Run! Brothers and sisters run. Run for the prize of your calling. Run that you may obtain the fruits of success. Let that mind be in you, that the Lord is with all believers but what makes the difference in your ability to utilize the power infused in you by the Holy Spirit.

May you obtain the results of your efforts. May you not faint but strengthened to the very end.

Remain blessed!
