“And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation”

We have been grafted in as privileged children of God. We have been reconciled to God through Christ and have been given the ministry of reconciliation. Jesus Christ did not come to condemn anyone but that through him all men might be saved. Our mandate is not to condemn anyone. Our duty is not to take the seat of judgment but to preach the word of grace to all who are perishing. Our ministry condemns sin in the flesh but stretches a hand of love to those who are enslaved by sin so that through the word of Christ, they will have redemption.

A true evangelist is one filled with the abundance of God’s love, mercy, and compassion.  The true evangelist proclaims the message of reconciliation; sent to save and not to condemn. This ministry is given to every Christian. It is the mandate of all believers to go out and reconcile lost souls to God. Soul-winning is the duty of every believer.

Go out today and just tell someone that God loves him or her. Let the love of God be shared in your heart with all men.

If you have not believed the gospel, know that Jesus loves you more, and no matter the weight of sins you carry, he is ready to save you. Jesus is willing, all you have to do is to deny the world and allow him into your heart.
